Older Wiser Learners (O.W.L.s)
Established to assist and support adult learners, the purpose of this organization is to initiate peer group contact and to facilitate transition to academic life; to serve as an information service; to ascertain areas of special needs, and to facilitate better accommodation and incorporation for all students. At least once a semester, members gather for a light meal and conversation, followed by a discussion that is relevant to the adult learners’ challenges in academia.
