often work on a series of sculptures
inspired by plant forms found in
nature on my property here at
Sculpture Barn. My most recent
series of pieces, the Unfurlings are
inspired by young ferns. My
intention is to capture the rhythm
of their metamorphosis with my forms
rather than depict them
realistically."
