Donald Gambino

Donald Gambino is a computer artist, consultant, educator, and private trainer since 1983, with experience teaching professionals and students how to use computers, software, and digital cameras.

Formerly chairperson of the Department of Computer Arts at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, he created the BFA program in computer art.

Donald likes to make learning fun and memorable for his students and clients, whether teaching in the Adult Education program WestConn, or all over the world, where he’s created courses and teaches online at http://www.sessions.edu/faculty/facultybios/donald.asp which is the first online school of new media and design.

In his Digital Camera and Photography courses, he pushes his students to learn the technical aspects of digicam operation, as well as how to capture the aesthetics in their photos.

In his photos, he enjoys being eclectic, zooming in and capturing the  “big little world,” and likes to look at an object or scene and letting it “speak to him” to take the picture with a fresh angle.
