Management Information Systems/Information Security Management
(ISM) Option
The major in MIS/ISM option provides undergraduate students an
enhancement to their understanding of information systems security
practices. It incorporates both behavioral and technical
perspectives of security and is intended to offer a broad
perspective. The purpose of this program is to elevate the
importance of the behavioral aspects of security while continuing to
recognize the importance of technological security controls.
A total of 122 semester hours is required in the following areas:
