New Students

Please call Disability Services to schedule an In-Take Meeting to learn about the services and accommodations available at WCSU. In order to be eligible for Disability Services, you must provide appropriate documentation indicating the presence of a disability that substantially limits 1 or more major life activity, including seeing, hearing, talking, breathing, walking, learning, use of hands and caring for oneself. Call Disability Services to learn about our documentation guidelines.

When To Schedule Your In-Take Meeting

If you are requesting services such as interpreter, captioning, book scanning, text in alternate format, assistive technology or transportation, please schedule your In-Take Meeting at least 6 weeks before the semester begins. For all other accommodations, please schedule your In-Take meeting at least 2 weeks before the semester begins.

What To Bring To Your Meeting

Pad & pen (be prepared to take notes if you can)
Documentation of your disability
Print-out of your up-coming class schedule
IEP (if you had one)
Disability Services In-Take form
FERPA form
Medical emergency information (if relevant)
