A Great Example of Global Studies in Our Classrooms:
Attached here are two special Skype Lectures in Dr. Edward Hagan's Writing 101 class in Fall 2009:  a linked discussion between Dr. Hagan's class, Dr. Robert Whittemore (ANTH, African Specialist), and Mr. Denis Hynes (Academy for Education Development, AED, an NGO in the U.S. and Africa), about Liberia and Africa (this class followed Dr. Abigail Disney's (Sept. 8) film and lecture on her award-winning documentary film about the women's peace movement in Liberia, Pray the Devil Back to Hell).
