Former Colonial James Furino signs pro contract in Italy
 

Two time captain and "07" graduate James Furino signed to play with the Chieti Baseball Club in the Italian professional league. James becomes the 3rd WestConn player under Coach Susi to sign a contract in Italy. Former outfielder Brenin Mucci "01", and pitcher Greg Palanzo "02" both played in the Italian league.
James leaves Friday night the 4th and arives in Italy on Saturday. He will be driven staright to the ball park, where if he is able, will play in an intra squad scrimmage. We wish James all the luck, and look forward to pictures and updates. We will keep you as updated as possible.
