Greg Galasso named to D3football.com Team of the Week

DANBURY, CT (Nov. 11) — Western Connecticut State University's Greg Galasso (Brewster, N.Y.) was named to D3football.com's Team of the Week presented by Scoutware! 

Galasso, a sophomore linebacker, led the Colonials' defense in Saturday's upset victory over The College of New Jersey, 37-34. He registered a New Jersey Athletic Conference season-high 22 total tackles against the Lions. His outstanding performance was also the highest single-game tackle total in the league since at least 2003. Galasso registered seven solos and 15 assisted take downs and one tackle for a loss of seven yards.

He was named NJAC's Defensive Player of the Week on Sunday.
