from 1995-2000.
Schachter led the 1999 team to the program’s first Skyline Conference Championship and first and only NCAA Tournament appearance, finishing with a 14-5 record. He was named Skyline Conference Coach of the Year.
He spent the 1990 season as Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Hunter College, guiding the Hawks to a second place CUNY Conference finish.
Schachter played his collegiate career at Brandeis University from 1973-76 as a four-year starting defender for the Judges, who were a New England ECAC Tournament participant in 1975 and the NCAA Division III National Champion in 1976.
He holds the Advanced National Diploma from the NSCAA, is a Certified Advanced Personal Trainer and earned the Certificate in Soccer Fitness & Conditioning from the International Coaching Academy.
In addition to his BA degree from Brandeis (Fine Arts, magna cum laude with high honors), Schachter earned the MS degree in the Sociology of Sport & Sports Management from the University of Leicester.
