Jennifer Burrows

Jennifer Burrows was named Head Coach of the Western Connecticut State University Women’s Lacrosse in the fall of 2005.

She guided the Colonials to a 2-14 overall record and 1-5 Little East Conference mark in her first season in 2006. In 2007, WestConn went 2-12 and 1-5 in league action.

Burrows, a former field hockey and lacrosse standout and 2002 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, comes to WestConn after two seasons as the Corsairs’ Head Field Hockey Coach.

She attended and graduated from the NCAA Women’s Coaches Academy.

In 2004, she began her collegiate coaching career as an Assistant Coach for the UMass Dartmouth women’s lacrosse team.

Burrows enjoyed a distinguished athletic career at UMass Dartmouth from 1998 through 2002. The 1998 Little East Conference Rookie of the Year, Burrows was also a LEC All-Conference, All-Tournament and Outstanding Athletic Achievement winner during the 1999 season. A 2000 Outstanding Athletic Achievement winner for a second year, Burrows was selected as team captain for the Corsiars during her senior season of 2002.
