Mission Statement:
The mission of the Tutoring Resource Center is to
support students in their academic experience at Western Connecticut
State University.
The Tutoring Resource Center accomplishes this mission through a wide
variety of services and programs and is available to all students who
wish to improve their ability to learn. Thus, the aim of the T.R.C. is
to help students achieve an effective academic performance that leads to
personal fulfillment.
The Tutoring Resource Center provides support and counsel for WestConn
students in all academic disciplines taught on both campuses. Through a
collaborative relationship with the faculty and other student affairs
offices at WestConn, the T.R.C. continuously adapts creative strategies
to reach the student population’s academic needs.
The Tutoring Resource Center promotes students' intellectual competence
to facilitate the academic mission of Western Connecticut State
University.
