Judging Criteria
(1) Introduction
Clarity of research question and background information
in the poster and as explained by the student.
(2)
Methodology
Clarity of methods used in the poster and as explained by the student.
(3) Results/Discussion
Are the results/findings/claims interpreted correctly and presented clearly in the poster and as explained by the student.
(4)
Questions
How well does the student handle questions from the judges (i.e., how well does the student understand his/her
project)?
(5)
Display aesthetics
How well organized the
poster is.
In the case of a tie for the Provost's prize, two judges will
be asked to judge the posters to determine which poster will win the
prize.
